KAMELOT Is 'Very Excited' About Upcoming North American Tour
July 1, 2007This week KAMELOT is heading to Firenze Italy for the Evolution Festival (July 7) and to Norway for the Kvinesdal Festival (July 14). After that the band returns home for only a few weeks before their much-anticipated tour of select North American dates. "It seems like forever since we were here in the U.S. and Canada. Rest assured, we are ready and very excited about this tour!" states guitarist Thomas Youngblood. "We are looking forward to playing some new songs and some rarely played older songs from a few years back."
Following the North American tour, KAMELOT returns to Europe in September/October for shows in Holland, France and Spain, befre making its way to Japan for four epic concerts in the Far East. Drummer Casey Grillo explains, "Japan is awesome. The fans, the culture, its one of our favorites countries to visit and perform in."
KAMELOT's latest CD, "Ghost Opera", entered the Japanese national album chart at position No. 34 and the international chart at No. 13.

KAMELOT's video for the song "Ghost Opera" is available online at YouTube. The track is the title cut off KAMELOT's new album, which was released in North America on June 5.
"Ghost Opera" is KAMELOT's third release for SPV/Steamhammer Records. The CD was recorded and mixed at Gate Studios and Pathway Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producers Sascha Paeth and Miro. Artwork was handled by Mattias Norén with contributions by Alexandra V. Bach, Liliana Sanchez and Derek Gores.
